This policy explains how Tickerlane handles the personal data of site visitors and newsletter subscribers, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The data controller is Carlos German Perez, an individual based in Alessandria (AL), Italy.

No Data Protection Officer has been appointed, as the legal conditions requiring one do not apply.
2. What we collect

Browsing the site requires no registration and creates no user profiles.
3. Legal basis
- Consent (Art. 6.1.a) for the newsletter and Community posts, withdrawable at any time.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f) for abuse prevention and service security.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c) where retention is required by law.

Transfers outside the EEA rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or on adequacy decisions.
5. Retention
- Newsletter email: until you unsubscribe, and deleted within 30 days thereafter.
- Community messages: until the author requests removal.
- IP hash: 12 months.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@tickerlane.news; we reply within 30 days.
To unsubscribe from the newsletter, the link at the foot of every email is enough.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or your local supervisory authority.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Email addresses are stored with the newsletter provider under access control. We never sell, rent or trade personal data for marketing purposes.
8. Children
The service is not aimed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data; if this occurs, the data will be deleted upon notice.
9. Changes
Updates will be published on this page with a new date. Subscribers will be notified by email of material changes.
